Genevieve Jacobsen

Genevieve brings to Steyer years of experience in recruiting, consulting, social media, and broader marketing from her various contributions in corporate, tech, and non-profit environments. She is passionate about connecting people and excels at creating unexpected networks from disparate places. Since 2019, she’s been doing exactly that in the content space, enabling her to combine her expertise in relationship building with her love of photography, art, literature, and media. This affection began in the desert foothills of Salt Lake City where Gen grew up studying creative writing, languages, and art, and earned a degree in marketing from the University of Utah. Genevieve has more recently called the Pacific Northwest her home for many years, which gives her ample inspiration for her photography hobby—often while hiking, running, or exploring the Puget Sound by boat. In addition, Gen completed a year-long University of Washington program in Storytelling and Content Strategy. If you’re lucky, your next video call with Genevieve may include a glimpse of one of her officemates: a rescue pup (Nash Kenneth), a school-aged kid or two, or maybe even one of the family chickens.
