Seeking Programmer Writers!
We are always looking for talented programmer writers who have three or more years of experience writing for developer audiences. Excellent writing skills and the ability to read or write C/C++ and/or C# are required. Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio development system is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also have experience with internal Microsoft content publishing tools, such as MSDN templates, Visual Source Safe, Doc Studio/DxStudio, and HTML Help.

Technical Writers
Technical Writer qualifications include three or more years of work-related experience writing for an end-user, consumer, or IT professional audience. Excellent writing skills and proactive problem solving skills are a must. The ideal candidate will also have experience with internal Microsoft content publishing tools, XML, HTML, MSDN templates, Product Studio, and Doc Studio/DxStudio. A bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field is highly preferred.
Technical Editors
Our Technical Editors work closely with programming writers and technical writers to ensure strong organization and accuracy of content and consistency of style. Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of experience editing for an end-user, consumer, or IT professional audience. A bachelor's degree is highly preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft technical editing processes, tools, and style guides is very helpful.
